A small printed pamphlet; the cover is entitled "An Open Letter to a College Freshman," with "Compliments of President Aikens" printed below. The title indicates that the "letter" was written by Carl E. Seashore, Dean of the Graduate College at the University of Iowa, and the pamphlet was published by the Extension Division of the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. Neither the pamphlet nor the text is dated.

Born, Superintendent; Jonathan R. Dimm, Principal; and [?.] F. Zimmerman, Vice Principal, with the embossed seal of the Missionary Institute affixed.

This file contains a single item, a printed announcement, dated July 20th, 1905 at Selin's Grove and issued by A. N. Warner, Registrar. It announces the election of Rev. Charles T. Aikens as president of Susquehanna University, as well as the election of Rev. D. B. Floyd as chair of Hebrew and Greek Exegesis in the Theological Department, and the hiring of Miss Mary Waldo as violin and orchestra teacher.
